Things to Bring + Know

We believe in mutual consent; tattooing is a voluntary process on both sides. Your Artist has the right to deny service for any reason. For example: Clear intoxication, health concerns that affect the tattooing process, or distressing behavior may result in cancelation or rescheduling of your appointment. This does not entitle you to a deposit refund.

  • You must be 18yrs or older to be tattooed, by law children are not permitted in the shop. 

  • Please be sure to bring a state photo ID!  Passport, driver’s license/permit, or IDNYC. (As a side note - undocumented folks are eligible for IDNYC)

  • Make sure you eat before you come in! Depending on how long your session is, you may want to bring a snack.

  • Lil Baby’s is a small space; for every one’s comfort we can only accommodate one guest, do to Covid we may ask you to come alone, please do not come to your appointment if you are unwell.

  • We love cute creatures but please do not bring your pets to your appointment. 

  • Our artists do not send out art work in advance. You will have a chance to view the final plan, size  & placement at your appointment time, at which point we can make any needed adjustments or small changes. If a major rework is needed, we may need to reschedule for a later date.

  • Last minute changes to the tattoo design may not be accommodated and are up to the artist’s discretion. A new deposit or appointment time may be required based on the requested changes.

  • If you realize you’d like to change something after your consultation, please reach out to your artist as soon as possible.

RESCHEDULING,Cancellation AND DEPOSIT Policy

While we understand life happens, consistent rescheduling negatively impacts artist’s schedules. We allow for two rescheduled appointments with appropriate notice before forfeiting your deposit. 

  • We require 48 hours notice to reschedule any appointment, lack of appropriate notice may forfeit your deposit and require a new despot be placed to rebook with your artist, this is up to the individual artists discretion.  

  • There is a 20 minute window for late arrival, after which your appointment may need to be rescheduled. Please remember reminder calls are courtesy, you are responsible for keeping your appointment.

  • Deposits DO NOT constitute sales of any artwork and do not entitle you any ownership of artworks.

  • Please understand many hours of work can go into preparation prior to your appointment for this reason ALL DEPOSITS ARE FINAL AND NONREFUNDABLE.

  • WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE, ESPECIALLY IF WE FEEL IT WOULD BE UNSAFE TO PROCEED WITH THE TATTOO PROCESS regardless of a scheduled appointment, if your artist feels unsafe, your behavior is belligerent, abusive or inappropriate they have the right to deny service without refund of deposit.
